“I didn’t know how much I was missing.”What people tell us after their first Sunday
For centuries the Church prayed in this same rite. The same words, the same silence, the same reverence offered by the saints and by our grandparents.
Many people today feel that something has quietly gone missing from worship, without ever being able to name it. When they find the Traditional Latin Mass, they recognize it at once.
This is not a museum piece or a private club. It is the living prayer of the Church, offered here in Las Vegas in full communion with the Catholic Church and our diocese. Whatever brought you to search for it, you are welcome to come and pray with us.
We ask only one thing: come with an open heart.
Your first visit
You will not be lost
If you have never been to a Latin Mass, the first worry is usually not knowing what to do, or being unable to follow along. Set that worry down.
At the door
You receive a missalette with the entire Mass, Latin and English, side by side.
You do not need to know Latin. You do not need to have done this before.
Come as you are
Dress with reverence, as you would for church. There is no dress code to pass.
Bring the children
Families are welcome, and little ones are no surprise in a full church.
Simply follow along
Sit, kneel, and stand with everyone else. No one expects you to have it memorized.
Stay a while after
We gather briefly after Mass to talk and meet one another. Come say hello.
The Schola Cantorum
The sound of heaven
Sacred music is not decoration at the Latin Mass. It is prayer. Our Schola sings the Church’s own Gregorian chant and sacred polyphony, the music written across centuries to carry the Mass upward.
If you have been given a voice, there is a place for you here.
Who we seek: teens and adults who can read basic modern notation and hold a pitch. We will teach you the chant. In return we ask commitment: one weekday rehearsal and arriving before Mass on Sunday.
An audition simply confirms the basics. If you have ever wanted your singing to mean something, this is it.

Questions newcomers ask
Do I need to know Latin?
No. You will receive a missalette with the full Mass in Latin and English, side by side, so you can follow every word. Most of our regulars did not know a word of Latin when they started.
Can I bring my children?
Yes, always. Children belong at Mass. No one will mind the sounds of a young family.
What should I wear?
Dress with reverence, as you would for any time in God’s house. Modest and respectful is all we ask. There is no dress code you have to pass.
How do I receive Communion?
At the Traditional Latin Mass, Communion is received kneeling and on the tongue. This is explained briefly before Mass, so no one is caught off guard. If you would rather remain in your pew and pray this first time, that is perfectly fine.
How long is Mass?
Usually about one hour to one hour and ten minutes.
Is this Mass approved by the Church?
Yes. This is a diocesan Mass, offered in full communion with the Catholic Church.
